Tracking Sponsoring Legal Entity vs. Employee's Legal Employer for Work Permit Validity

edited Oct 28, 2024 11:57PM in Human Capital Management 1 comment

We are looking for guidance on tracking Sponsoring Legal Entity versus the employee's current legal employer.

  • We currently capture the Legal Employer (at the time of Global Transfer) and attach the Work Permit of the Sponsoring Legal Entity in the Document of Records.
  • However, we need to identify cases where an employee's Sponsoring Legal Entity in the Document of Records (Work and Visa document) does not match their current legal employer, which would indicate a need for updated work authorization. This problem arises when the employee takes a transfer within USA's different legal employer.

Has anyone implemented a solution to track the Sponsoring Legal Entity separately from the current legal employer to help ensure ongoing work permit compliance? Best Practices from Oracle or any recommendations on configuration, fields, or reports that can support this need would be greatly appreciated.

Howdy, Stranger!
