Unable to delete zip files using deleteFile EPMAutomate command

Im having trouble deleting zip files using the deleteFile EPMAutomate command. I have tried in several environments and upgraded epmautomate and still no luck. The script runs but eventually just times out with an internal server error. I can delete any other file type without an issue.

Has anyone else had an issue with this?

I have a script to export essbase data to the outbox, and I want to delete the file so I can re-execute on a nightly basis
