Rolling 12 Consol Formulas DSO Help

In the process of converting our FCCS apps to DSO. Have noticed some of our Rolling 12 member calculations (Consol formulas tied to Account dimensions) are causing grids, smartview files, and reports to pull much slower than before. We have been through all the recommendations (solve order etc) and are still having trouble.

We were given a suggestion from a consultant on a similar formula to use @MEMBER(@PREVIOUSSIBLING) instead of using @PRIOR and @RELATIVE etc, and have success in a different (income statement) calculation. However, when I tried to apply the same logic to a balance sheet account pull calculation, I was not successful (spun for over an hour).
