Investment in Subsidiary Elimination having no intercompany Partner

In my Project, There are so many cases, where investment is made having no Intercompany partner or in some cases same ICP( same Affiliated Code). I checked out the OOB rule where it mentioned for eliminating Investment in sub , It requires Intercompany partner and it should be descendant of that entities  Can we modify the OOB rule in order to eliminate investment in sub in case of NO ICP or same ICP. Or if not is there any way we can eliminate these investment in sub having no affiliate code. Please if any one faced this issue, your
