Inquiry about "Quick Ship" flow and handling zero-quantity

edited Nov 14, 2024 6:40AM in Inventory Management

Summary:

We are implementing a "Quick Ship" flow in Oracle Cloud Inventory to streamline the shipment process for orders coming from the OM module. This flow is managed by an external WMS, which sends services during the picking process to ensure inventory synchronization with Oracle Cloud.

One of the identified scenarios requires the ability to perform shipments with zero quantity, representing a fictitious shipment. This is needed when the WMS determines that a shipment must be completely canceled, releasing the picked inventory while registering that the shipment will not take place.

We request support to address the following:

  1. Is it possible to manage zero-quantity shipments using the standard "Quick Ship" functionality?

Howdy, Stranger!
