Do Demand Plan with standard calendar generate a forecasted shipment quantity that has Fluctuations?

In Demand Management module, we are looking for a setting/parameter change to have the sales forecasting with standard calendar work properly. Currently, it is showing on average a flat line graph for the forecasted shipment quantities on weekly basis.
