Remove Access to Common Components

Looking into removing access to various common components. When I log into our environment with a user that has no roles, I can access all these components except My Dashboard which indicates access to them is not controlled by roles or privileges. Do we have the ability to remove access to any of these features through system configuration? Note that some of these are not accessible through the Navigator and you’ll see icons for them at the top right of menu bar.
