Can Contract Manufacturing work with 2 Plants within the BU

Summary:

Hi,

We have a requirement for the below process that needed to be defined in the Oracle Fusion, related to the Contract Manufacturing which involves 2 manufacturing plants (FWP & FWT), where FWP is a manufacturing plant and FWT is a contract Manufacturing plant:

  1. Sales order is submitted in Organization FWP and the Supply Orchestration will create Work Order in FWP.
  2. A work order should be completed in FWP for the FG item.
  3. Then another Work Order should be created in FWT where the Contract Manufacturing Service Component will be used in the production of FG Item.
  4. Once the Contract Manufacturing Finished Goods is completed, a Transfer Order should be created from FWT to FWP and then the Sales Order Shipment will be completed through FWP organization.
