Is there a way to delete a profile attribute from multiple profiles at once?

Summary: We have over 2,000 profiles that we need to delete an attribute from the profiles. Is there a way to delete the attribute from all the profiles all at once? I know I can set the attribute to blank either by using the Set Attribute option or by importing the profiles via the import spreadsheet. But that just clears out the attribute value, it doesn't remove the attribute from the profile. And I can also open each profile one by one to fully delete an attribute.
