What is impacting of changing locator controlled subinventory to non locator control

We are looking to update all our locator controlled subinventory to non locator control due to WMS implementation.
Client is insist to use same subinventory name. Hence planning to the following

1. Issue out all stock from the subinventory and locator by subinventory transfer
2. End date all the locators
3. Update Subinventory's locator control as None
4. Bring back all the stock in the updated subinventory without locator

What will be the impact if we do the above
