Privileges to view reports in BI Catalog without access to transactions

We have a requirement for a custom role to access the reports in Business Intelligence Catalog for all Procurement Functional Area Folders. Currently the access to the reports and folders are only limited to the functional job roles (Buyer, Category Manager etc). For this custom role, they should not have access to transactions and can only view the seeded reports in the catalog. How can we achieve this? What privileges are required to be added or removed for the custom role in order to have this access?
