We are currently facing an issue in Oracle Fusion Receiving. When trying to perform inspections under 'Inspect Receipts', the system does not allow us to proceed unless an inspection plan is defined.

Here are the details:

  • Receipt Routing: Inspection Required
  • Issue: Unable to perform inspection without an associated inspection plan
  • Expected Behavior: We assumed inspections could proceed manually without a plan, but the system restricts this.

Is this expected functionality in Oracle Fusion Receiving, or could this be a bug or misconfiguration?
If this is intended behavior, what’s the recommended approach for handling ad-hoc inspections or minimal inspection requirements?
