Line manager editing another line manager's direct reports timecard
Summary:
In our organization, it's usual to see a line manager A have access to line manager B's direct reports timecards whenever line manager B goes on vacation or leave.
The approval delegation only allows line manager A to simply approve any requests that comes their way, but if one of line manager B's direct report has a missing punch then line manager A cannot make the change on the behalf of line manager B.
From looking around the community, it sounds like Oracle does not have a straight forward function to allow same level manager to edit each other's direct report timecards. I wanted to know what is your current work around as it should be a normal function to allow line managers to edit/submit/approve each other direct reports timecards when applicable. Or even allow an executive assistant to help a chief executive with their timecards.
