Best Practices for Starting to work with Clinical One Analytics
David Shuford-Oracle

The first Clinical One Analytics users are quickly learning how to build reports and visualizations. Here are some common things to remember as you begin your journey.
- Remember to update your roles with the correct permissions for datasets. Users only see the studies & sites they are associated. They also must have permissions for datasets in each study. https://docs.oracle.com/en/industries/health-sciences/clinical-one/analytics-information/get-started-data-sets-and-visualizing-data.html
- Filtering is an important part of seeing the data you expect to see. For example, if you want to just see Production data, be sure to filter by study mode. Also, in the audit folder is Currency of data which can impact your reports.
- Creating calculations is also a big part of getting value. For example, getting counts of subjects, # of days queries have been open, running sum, etc.
Please feel free to add what you've learned!
Best,
Dave
