Can we setup a Cash Register in Oracle Receivable to handle transactions around world using their lo

This seems to be a bit like "Starbucks" where there stores around the world are like Operating Units. They(Starbucks) have a "system" that connects to their cash registers, they have multiple currencies and they can pay bills locally. They can bring the results into a financial package and build reports.

Does Oracle offer some sort of function that we might be able to adapt simmilar to Starbucks cash register around the world.
