Hello,
We run Open VMS 7.3-2, Rdb version 7.1.2.5.1
and Sql/Services 7.1.5
We intend to upgrade sql/services to the higer version.
According to the compatibility matrix we can go as high as
SQL /Services 7.2.0.2.
But during installation procedure one has to specify "SQL version".
I understand that I have to select "7.1" in this case.
I wanted to ask about the future scenario which
includes upgrading to RDB 7.2.
I will have to also change the "SQL version" of the
Sql/Services to 7.2.
Will "alter service"/"alter dispatcher"/"alter server" do ?
Do you think it's more recommended
to install SQL/services 7.1.6 now -
