SAMFS with mixed T10K Gen A and T10K Gen B drives

 Using a SL8500, my customer wants to add on more tape drives i.e. T10K Gen B instead of Gen A due to it being able to accommodate a larger capacity on media.
How do we configure SAMFS to managed this mixed media within the SL8500? For instance, how do we define a configuration such that File System A
only uses the T10K Gen A drives while File System B only uses the T10K Gen B drives.  Reason being if we mixed both T10K Gen A and Gen B, will
there be any issues whereby SAMFS may mount a tape media in T10K Gen B format to a T10K Gen A drive?
