Hello,
Oracle Rdb Guide to Database Maintenance
Section 9.4.3 Setting the Allocation Size
To determine an appropriate allocation setting, estimate the amount of data that is written to the after-image journal file in one day.
Use the RMU Show Statistics command to establish an approximation for blocks per transaction (BPT) and transactions per second (TPS).
From screen "Snapshot Statistics", I estimate TPS = ("Total transactions" - "R/O transactions") / "Elapsed". Correct?
Need your help to estimate BPT
Thanks in advance,
Richard
