Best Practices to globally change approval limit in Purchasing

 I am in an urgent need to find a right  solution how to globally change approval limit for requisition approval.

Our approval is based on the Job title and to manually make that change would take a week.I need to know the best way . Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
