Cross reference part numbers

Has anyone been able to create a cross reference ability in Iprocurement that would direct a requester to a second part number based on the original one selected or input?

The goal is; We have numerous part numbers sold by different suppliers (only difference is part number) and to ensure the lowest cost is selected.

Any help is appreciated.
