SLM:Buyer registers supplier info and clicks register:Error message-Atleast one entry is required f

In R12.1.3 Vision environment trying to set the Buyer registration process for a supplier and getting below errors

In this process buyer enters the details of the supplier and clicks register.

Getting an error message that“Atleast one entry is required for product & services.At the same,an workflow notification is sent to supplier user.As a workaround,tried to enter product & services to proceed,but then system asked to provide the bank account details of the supplier..Questions: Why is the system prompting the buyer to provide product & services information?After reading thro the Implementation & user guides ,this is not a standard functionality.
