Can't upgrade home-grown management plug-in

  I have created a custom plug-in. This plug-in has been working correctly for a couple of months.
I just added some metrics. After deploying the new version of the plug-in, I do not see the new metrics in the EM console.

I had debugged the new version of the plug-in in our OEM development system, so I know it is not a problem with the plug-in itself. Also, I can see the new metrics in the metric browser.

Here's the steps I took:

1. version 1.2 of the plug-in is currently in use on our production system
2. I created new management pack archive (-mp_version="2.0")
