LMS - Move to a new module forces Learner to login to Oracle again and LMS did not track progress

Hi-
A Learner attempted to take an eLearning course through Oracle LMS, but each time he moved to a 
new module he was forced to login yo Oracle again. In addition, LMS did not track any of his progress. He was using Windows 7 Enterprise with IE8, and he disabled the next-generation Java Plug-in.
Two other people were able to successfully complete the course.

Are there any special system or user requirements to use LMS?
