HFM Lock failing even after consolidation
Hi All,
Every month we perform consolidation on the period for <Entity Currency>, but still when trying to lock the period, it fails with msg 'Cannot complete this action because calculations, translations, or condolidations need to be performed'. all the child entites get locked except the parent one.
So, as a work around, we have to unlock all the entities, perform a Force calculate, and consolidate all with Data on the [None] value dimension member, Then only the locking of the period works. This step at times need to be repeated 2-3 times, inorder to perform successful lock.
Can this step be minimized, is there any specific reason to why this workaround is required even though other HFM apps are working fine. Can this is fixed by any application setting.
