Item Revision

 Hi,
I am making an item , and the item is Revision Control Enabled and i kept the list price 100 USD 
I created a revision for the Item and changed the List Price to 500 USD, While creating a PO i selected a previous revision the List Price did not change.

is this the intended functionality??
