Determining size of mm partitions

edited Aug 17, 2012 10:04AM in Oracle HSM and StorageTek QFS Software (MOSC) 5 commentsAnswered
I have a samfs ma+mm+mr filesystem that I thought had more than sufficientinode space in the mm partitions for the number of files that I have in the filesystem.
I have added much more mr space to the samfs filesystem, and as I stage in more
files, I find that I am running of of mm space.

1.  What info is stored in the mm partition?  I thought it was only inode info.

2.  What is the size of a samfs inode for a single file?

3.   Does samfs has indirect pointer records to data contents in the mr partitions
that are also stored in the mm partition?

Howdy, Stranger!
