Hope somebody can help.
Solaris 8
Trying to add some extra disk space to old leagacy server.
6768A HBA card installed and connected to 3510 array with 5 disks.
Qlogic QLA2300 driver install successfully
San Foundation Kit also installed
probe-scsi-all ran and the new 3510 disks were visible after installation.
Restarted server (ultra 80)
Ran sccli
# sccli
sccli: no manageable devices found
sccli: Type "sccli help" for valid commands.
# luxadm -e port
Found path to 0 HBA ports
Ran cfgadm -al and got no fc types displayed/returned.
Reinstalled the QLA2300 but failed to attach to driver.
I have looked at loads of docs but all start from the point of getting some output out of the luxadm -e port command or the sccli command.
