Need to create a Request Set that increments the period_name

Hi,

Perhaps someone has had a simular requirement and can help me.

I need to create a request set to run the monthly accruals process. This process requres me to enter the period_name which is in a format AUG-12.

I have tried to create a request set and set the default period name using sql in the parameter field. That worked fine however when the request resubmits itself for next month the next submission hiolds the parameter value of AUG-12 and does not increment to SEP-12.

Has anyone encountered this before?
