couldn't login to oracle through sqlplus

Hello to All,

I want to ask that....

We have Oracle 10.1.0.2.0 Enterprise Edition installed on Server.

Machine RAM is 1GB.

Windows OS is windows 2003 Server.

We have faced the problem that, for sometime (2 to 3 days) machine and Oracle instance is continuosly running, and also our application is running fine.

But after that when we am trying to connect to oracle throgh sqlplus , after given Username and Password and when we enter after that screen would be on that stage only

we are not getting any message or sql prompt or nothing and it continuos until we close the window.

we have checked the Alert_Orcl log but we can't find any problem or message regarding this. and also at the same time my application is running smothely without any problem.
