Cancel Requisition Lines

We have lots of backorders for internal sales orders and planning to see if we can write a program and cancel all the backorders greater than 60 days or older. I can use the Order Manaegment API to cancel the lines and these order lines are tied to requisition, we would like to know if we can cancel them as well. Is there an API that we can use to cancel a requisition. When we cancel the backorders using the Order API, we would also want to cancel the corresponding requisition lines. Is this possible. Please advise.
