R12.1.3 : Apps login taking a very long time

Hi,
We are facing performance issue while logging in through APPS login URL.   After entering username / password it takes more than 5 mins to get inside the application.   We have gathered stats in all FND /AD tables,
but we have not seen a performance improvement.   This happens when user logs in the 1st time in the day.  All subsequent logins in the day is much faster .

Please let me know, where should I start looking to trouble shoot the issue.
