Why does the Receiving Transaction Processor automatically call the Payables Open Interface Import p

We noticed that the Receiving Transaction Processor automatically calls the Payables Open Interface Import when we have created ASBN.  Is there a way we can prevent this?  We want to manually run the Payables Open Interface Import program. 

Help would be much appreciated.
