Assigning local management interfaces that are kept local

Hi

Hoping someone can help with this ..

We have limited network ports and slots in our appliances, so I don't want the local management interface on one head to be "known" to the other one. We never want the management interface to fail over, but would like it to be resilient. What I would like to do is something like create an IPMP pair on igb0 igb2 on each head - but currently I have to "reserve" these NIC on the opposite head when I create the local interfaces - even though they will never fail over as they are locked. Is there a way round this so
