Able to approve Blanket releases even after release value is greater than amount agreed on Blanket P

Hi,

we found some cases that we have some releases approved in system for which release value is greater than amount agreed on Blanket PO. and releases are approved.

i.e my total Blanket PO amount agreed < total releases approved

How it is possible?

any setup is there behind this?

or any process issue?

please provide some information and updates on the same.
