Cannot access EBS login. unable to authenticate session.

Hi,
I have been using EBS for the past 6 months. The version is 12.1.1.
Today when i try to login to Oracle EBS, i am not even able to view the login page. Instead i view an error "Unable to authenticate session."
I had increased the memory heap size in opmn.xml, setting the minimum as 512Mb and maximum as 2048mMb. Earlier it was 128 and 512.
How can i solve this issue?
