Customization of Login Page in 12.1.2 (Oracle Apps)

Hi,

Is it possible to customize the login page (OAF/HTML) page, such that it has a box (text box), which can be linked to a location where text could be updated.

This is to display messages in the login page, whenever there is any maintenance activity or freeze.

Please let me know if this is feasible.
