Financial Tax Register - note 1596558.1, enhancement request

Hi
I currently have an SR opened due the FTR showing some taxable amounts as doubled.

As the FTR is Oracle's main tax report, I assumed there would be a fix to this.  Instead I have been directed to the above note, which is basically saying "Yes, the report is incorrect, but fixing it is an enhancement request".

Before I inform our group tax managers, can someone confirm that my understanding of this seemingly ridiculous situation is correct?
