Supplier login keeps resolving back to source clone

I created a clone of our production and thought I set everything up right for Suppliers to login via our external site.

[it works OK for iRecruitment].

After entering their username/password and hitting the login button, you're immediately taken to a url

referencing the source envir. [production]. -- and you dont login.

I did verify the POS Guest Supplier respon. is set to external, the Guest user is not end-dated

and is assigned the POS Guest respon.

I ran the pos_upg_usr.sql script.  all the other needed respon is set to external, and the

POS: External URL profile is set.
