unable to login in the OS from console

Hi Team,

I am unable to login in the os from console, OS IP is pinging but not able to login directly and nor from console and there is no deviation in the hardware.

server :- E2900

OS:- solaris10 update 10

errors on console:-

symlink failed for /dev/pts/98 -> ../../devices/pseudo/pts@0:98: I/O error

Apr 18 09:30:19 bmlsdp71 devfsadmd[65]: symlink failed for /dev/pts/99 -> ../../devices/pseudo/pts@0:99: I/O error

Apr 18 09:30:19 bmlsdp71 devfsadmd[65]: symlink failed for /dev/pts/100 -> ../../devices/pseudo/pts@0:100: I/O error

Apr 18 09:30:19 bmlsdp71 devfsadmd[65]: symlink failed for /dev/pts/101 -> ../../devices/pseudo/pts@0:101: I/O error
