Regarding deregister Oracle E-Business Suite instance from OSSO and OID servers

I checked the following note
1.
Registering Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with Oracle Internet Directory 11gR1 and Single Sign-On [ID 1370938.1]
Section 3: Deregistration
Section 3.1: Deregister All
$FND_TOP/bin/txkrun.pl -script=SetSSOReg -deregister=yes

2.
How to remove the Integration Of OID And SSO With Oracle Applications 11i (Doc ID 445285.1) ->Internal note

In this note, It state that after deregistration,"Reset FND_USER.USER_GUID to null" is  Optional work.

we want to confirm that ” reset FND_USER.USER_GUID to null ” is optional or mandatory
