Unable to LogIn to E-Business Suite when the Database Instance in the Cluster is Taken down

Hi all,

We are running on 12.1.3 E-Business Suite with Apache and Forms on Node 1 and Concurrent Manager on Node 2. Database is running on 5-Node RAC on Exadata.

Noticed that , users are experiencing caching issues while logging to E-Business suite when Database Instances on RAC are taken down in rolling fashion.

Requests to AppsLocalLogin.jsp where taking longer times and end up with nullconnection errors.

Solution : Seems like a connection cache issue in Apache, OACORE. So we had to bounce apache and OACORE to resolve the issue.

Does any one face the same issue in R12.1.3 with Database on RAC ?. Is there an automatic way to resolve this with out bouncing the Apache , OACORE ?
