Assigning Items across OU/Inventory Orgs with different currencies??

Hi,

We have a situation, where we are 2 different Ledgers (with different functional currencies and operating units) defined in R12.

We have several items setup in Ledger 1 (OU1 - INV ORG 1 ) in USD.

We want to be able to assign items form INV ORG1 to INV ORG 2 ( in Ledger 2, OU2 ) in CAD Currency.

Is this possible to do? Is there any setup associated that may be required?

Any suggestions/thoughts are appreciated.
