SC 3.3 U2 - how to register former resource type versions

Hello experts,

we are currently importing Solaris cluster XML configuration from one cluster to another. Both clusters are running SC 3.3 U2 but w/ different patch level.

Problem is that some resource types on the target cluster are already having higher versions (installed/registered).

Basically there are 2 options:

#1: adopt XML configuration before performing the import (change resource type version on the resources)

#2: register former resource type versions on the target cluster

To keep the configuration as close between source and target cluster we would like to use the same resource type versions  (the ones from the source). That said we would like to register multiple versions of the same resource type on the target cluster.
