vmstat run queue size too high

Dear all,

We are facing a performance issue on a production server, nothing really significant found yet that could explain the performance issues that the project is facing, but a few things bother me, and I need some help to find the root cause :

vmstat is showing a lot of process in the run queue ( see attached file vmstat.txt ), most of the time between 30 and 50. Average load is under 2 on prstat. How can I go deeper in this kind of analysis to find what is causing this high run queue size ?

I tried to use a dtrace script to check this ( cpudispqlen.d ), and the result is kind of strange, very high queue for processor 0, much more than the others ( see attached file cpudispqlen.txt )

Howdy, Stranger!
