CPU load queries

Hi,

We have server (SPARC with Solaris 10) continue to run without issue when CPU load is more than 100% measured by the monitoring tool (Big Brother).

Correct me that the above is genuine? How this can be achieved without system panic when CPU hits 100% work load?
