Sequential Numbering and Document Number

Hi

Can someone please help me with the below scenario.

I have one ledger and assigned document sequence to it. I have 2 operating units using the same ledger.

With one OU I am able to see the document number generated while creating journals via Mass Upload, having source as Spreadsheet.

But with another OU, Document Number is not generated.

Profile option setup is same for the responsibilities of both the ledgers.

Can anybody please explain me the discrepancy.
