we are not able to login to JDE web client but fat client is working fine,

Root log is throwing below error please advise, 12 Feb 2016 04:43:44,389 [SEVERE]  - [AS_JS_PM1][BASE]            com.jdedwards.database.base.JDBException: [RETRYABLE_OPERATION_FAILED] Retryable operation failed. com.jdedwards.base.util.RetryException: High-order nibble of the byte at array offset 273 is not valid.  Byte value: 20
