How to increase the processes of ulimit in Solaris 11 ?

Dear all,

I have an issue regarding to OBIEE, as i have worked around i found that we need to increase the process of ulimit.

As the previous version of Oracle Solaris 10, there is a file /etc/security/limits.conf  but my current system running on Oracle Solaris 11.2

The solution they provide is to increase the below:
* soft nofile 4096

* hard nofile 65536

I have tried to verify the current value and add the new value but seem like it's not the right one.

Your help is really appreciate.
