In 12.2.5, assigning freight carriers to the master org is optional, but should the client just assi

Client is using 12.2.5 when the freight carrier is defined, the client has the option to manually assign the master org. Client is asking for feedback on why they should assign to the master org if it is optional and no shipping ever occurs from the master org. I believe the master org should be assigned, but cant seems to find a reason.
