Why PO goes to reapproval if we change Acknowledge By date

Hi

We have R12.1.3 and when ever change in PO Acknowledge By date in header section of BWC, the PO is initiating the reapproval. we don't have any field to  provide approval tolerance. Any one help on this to stop approval process would be great help.
